A biotechnology company in Scandinavia manufactures natural additives, but due to the delicate nature of their products, they are produced in a strictly controlled environment. This company has faced wheel issues multiple times in the past. Fragile and easily breakable tires, as well as rigid and corroded rotating fittings, rendered the carts nearly or completely unusable, making them difficult for operators to handle, reducing work efficiency, and incurring maintenance costs. As a solution, we analyzed the specific requests from the field and developed an ideal solution based on the Blickle LIX-POTH caster wheel series. As a special feature, a special cold-resistant grease suitable for roller bearings at temperatures down to -70°C is applied to the deep groove ball bearings of the wheels and the swivel parts of the mounting fittings.
